Benedict Cumberbatch voices both the Necromancer and Smaug, but he also did the motion-capture for Smaug.  (He also voiced another character in the picture who has not been named.)

Benedict Cumberbatch is a surprise choice to play the son of Mattie Fae and Charlie, as a 37-year-old man who is unemployed and who's grown accustomed to his mother referring to him as the "screw-up" of the family. Like everyone else, he has a secret that will be exposed at this family gathering.

Penguins of Madagascar  Aug 5, 2013 from the link:
DreamWorks Animation has set Benedict Cumberbatch and John Malkovich to voice new characters in its spin-off "The Penguins of Madagascar," TheWrap has learned.
The animated movie, which features the penguins from DWA's "Madagascar" franchise, is scheduled for release on March 27, 2015.
(Release dates change so frequently, that this date will not be published with the other films by this blog until at least 12 months prior.)
